Dexamethasone for pneumonia dosage
Patients on dexamethasone may experience fewer overall side effects due to its relative lack of mineralocorticosteroid effects and consequently lower sodium retention than seen with other steroids, such as prednisone and prednisolone.1
Conclusions
This study showed that the use of dexamethasone in adolescents before or during puberty had no detectable positive effect on sperm quality or morphology in healthy men, dexamethasone for poison ivy. Further research on the possibility of an association between dexamethasone usage and male infertility requires a larger, prospective study, use of steroids in chest infections.
